The World Congress 2008 of the global Network Cities for Mobility was held in Stuttgart from 1 – 4 June 2008. The event was designed to provide a platform for advancing direct cooperation in the field of sustainable urban mobility between local and regional government, together with other partners from business, science and society at large. This year’s thematic focus was on the interplay of “traffic and the environment” in cities. One of the main purposes was to learn from completed projects and to jointly develop innovative project ideas. Presentations from the event are available online.
