Green Public Procurement in the European Union

Global to Local were part of the Take 5 Consortium which surveyed all 25 member states (at the time) to examine actual sustainable procurement practice in public sector tenders. The consortium also examined best practice for a number of commodity groups and put forward a wide range of recommendations.

 

Global to Local's role in the project:
Global to Local were responsible for UK, Ireland, France, Luxembourg and Malta and for a number of the commodity groups.

The work was commissioned in 2004 and was completed in 2006.
