LEAP

A three-year project examining how the management and implementation of green purchasing can be improved through integration with environmental management systems.

 

Twelve municipalities throughout Europe are involved: Leicester City Council, LB Lewisham, LB Southwark,
LB Sutton and Sandwell MBC in the UK, Amaroussion, Holargos and Kalithea in Greece, Almada in Portugal, Goteborg in Sweden and Barcelona in Spain.

Global to Local's role in the project:
Bid development and submission, development of tools, dissemination and project management.

Start date: November 2003
